2 months (technically, 68 days)
Dear Jack,
Oh my sweet, SWEET little rabbit - what a little awesome kid you are becoming! Every morning is a gamble on how you're going to wake up - either with shrieks of hunger or cute, tiny coos of joy - but by the time your tum tum has got some milk in it, you are a crack up! All you want to do is jibber-jabber with your moms.

Poor Jack...
So I had a plan for today to take pictures and get info ready to share on the comings and goings of Mr. Jack. And as most well planned intentions, it just didn't happen.
Jack had his 2mo well baby check up as well as immunizations today, the appointment went really well until we got to the shots... that was when it went downhill. Poor kid never saw it coming, and he wasn't the same for the rest of the day. All he wanted to do was to be with mommy, nursing and sleeping. He wouldn't let me put him down without wailing that sad, sad hurtful cry that almost made me cry. It's the first time he has ever been like that, and I missed my smiley happy little boy! Hopefully when he wakes up tomorrow, he'll be back to normal and I'll be able to get those 2mo pictures up with his big smile and hopefully a video - cross your fingers!

woo hoo for family pics!
Today, the whole Parkinson clan got together for family pics... we haven't had pics done since '07 and the family make-up has changed just a wee bit since then :) Our photographer was AMAZING! We had so much fun, too bad it felt like it was 102 degrees out...
The most awesome thing? She already had a few of our pics up tonight! Go to her
website to check them out! Thanks Heidi! You did awesome!!!

I should have expected this to happen...
Today while quietly feeding Jack in the wee hours of the morning, I was reveling in the quiet time I had with my Mr. Man. His cherubic face was serene while we looked at each other, and his gentle sighs as his little tummy filled up were such bliss for this new mom. As feeding time goes on, he slows down and stops eating (this is normal for a child of my husband - my husband whose eating pace is out matched by a sloth.). I gently rub his back hoping he won't take too long when the wee babe lets out a ginormous fart - one that would challenge any adult. He unlatches and grins one of the biggest grins I've seen on him so far as I react with a loud "woo!" and gives me the best belly laugh for a good few minutes to express how proud of his accomplishment he is. I have no one to blame but myself for having that bean burrito for dinner last night...

stumped...
I feel like I need to post something... ANYTHING really... but what to post? Yes, we all know how adorable our little Jack Rabbit is... but if ALL of my posts are about him, I'm afraid that those of you who are not of blood relation will stray from my puny, little blog. And really, I DO have other things going on besides being a mom (even though everyday feels all consuming of motherhood) and I would like to share those things... but then again there is the fear of boring the heck out of those reading this, but really is it MY job to entertain you all??? LOL...
So, please forgive if this blog is a total snore for you, but it is what it is... any suggestions would be much appreciated as well ;)
For those of you needing a Jack fix, here you go!

How it all went down....
After being overdue for a week in the hottest part of the year here, walking what felt like a million miles to get things rolling (especially since my mom had flown out for the big occasion a week prior and had yet to see a new grandson), my doctor approved to induce and get Mr. Man out and about.
