smart marketing...

This has catchy tune has been going through my head like crazy!  In fact, it is so catchy that I had to use my SoundHound app on my phone to get the full version.  I find myself singing along with the commercial whenever it comes on now... (and while driving, cooking up a frozen burrito, dancing with Jack, showering, changing a dirty diaper... pretty much all the time) and the part with the sheep cracks me up....

So I've recently met my across-the-street neighbor at our ward's monthly relief society meeting.

2 months (technically, 68 days)

Dear Jack,

Oh my sweet, SWEET little rabbit - what a little awesome kid you are becoming!  Every morning is a gamble on how you're going to wake up - either with shrieks of hunger or cute, tiny coos of joy - but by the time your tum tum has got some milk in it, you are a crack up!  All you want to do is jibber-jabber with your moms.

Poor Jack...

So I had a plan for today to take pictures and get info ready to share on the comings and goings of Mr. Jack.  And as most well planned intentions, it just didn't happen.

Jack had his 2mo well baby check up as well as immunizations today, the appointment went really well until we got to the shots... that was when it went downhill.  Poor kid never saw it coming, and he wasn't the same for the rest of the day.  All he wanted to do was to be with mommy, nursing and sleeping.  He wouldn't let me put him down without wailing that sad, sad hurtful cry that almost made me cry.  It's the first time he has ever been like that, and I missed my smiley happy little boy!  Hopefully when he wakes up tomorrow, he'll be back to normal and I'll be able to get those 2mo pictures up with his big smile and hopefully a video - cross your fingers!

woo hoo for family pics!

Today, the whole Parkinson clan got together for family pics... we haven't had pics done since '07 and the family make-up has changed just a wee bit since then :)  Our photographer was AMAZING!  We had so much fun, too bad it felt like it was 102 degrees out...

The most awesome thing?  She already had a few of our pics up tonight!  Go to her website to check them out!

Thanks Heidi!  You did awesome!!!
